Lantana ‘Bandana® Cherry Sunrise’

Just try to look away from this plant. With its brilliant shades and plentiful blossoms, ‘Cherry Sunrise’ is one of the most unique color selections in the Bandana® series. Each large flower cluster is a glowing display in at least four colors: sunny yellow, apricot, deep pink, and cherry red.

Notice the lush, dark green foliage—it’s fragrant and compact, keeping a tight, dense mound throughout the season. Though smaller than traditional lantana at about 18–24 inches tall, Bandana® varieties are tough, standing up to heat, humidity, and drought equally well. They also thrive on neglect, growing in a range of poor soils and requiring little to no supplemental water once they’re in the ground. 

Use this selection en masse in the landscape as a vivid sprawling groundcover. ‘Cherry Sunrise’ also has a nice trailing habit for brightening containers and hanging baskets. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and songbirds find it appealing.
