ANGELONIAS IN AUTUMN
If you have a passion for design, we would like to draw your attention back to the angelonias. We’ve recommended them before, and with good reason. They offer a snapdragon effect but with bigger and bolder blooms—and a generally tougher plant. Standard angelonias have an upright appearance like snaps and veronicas but spreading angelonias fold over each other—the blooms sit at an angle every-which-way. This gives the crop a rougher, more country meadow look.
DIANTHUS IDEAL RED & VIOLET
For fall dianthus, we found the Ideal series to be very reliable bloomers. These short, tightly-mounded plants provide excellent flower coverage, so they pack tightly on a retail bench or look neat and tidy marching along a border garden.
