Pansy Mixes in Shades for Autumn
‘Matrix™ Clear Mix’
Rev up seasonal displays with our low-maintenance pansy mixes in pretty autumn shades. Like a teaspoon of spice they warm up larger fall mums and add an extra kick to a combo. If you feel like an ingredient is missing that you can’t seem to put your finger on—it’s probably pansies.
‘Matrix™ Clear Mix’ is an assortment of large, clear blooms in rose, purple, light blue, orange, yellow, white, and primrose; it’s available in the 1801 flat and the 8-inch bowl.
‘Imperial Antique Shades’ is a unique blend of vintage pastels ranging from apricot to rose. This mix comes in the 6-inch pot.
‘Delta Apple Cider’ includes blotched pansies in shades of white, rose, and primrose. We grow it in the 804 deep flat.
‘Delta Fire’
Now, our ‘Delta Fire’ is not actually a mix, it’s a tricolor pansy—but it’s difficult to find two flowers on one plant that look alike. Each bloom is a mix of yellow and deep red with shades of orange and bronze-red. Fill a caldron-style planter with these and each autumn breeze will fan the flickering flames. This variety comes in the 804 deep flat and the 8-inch bowl.
For a block of solid color to contrast with orange mums and pumpkins we suggest ‘Matrix™ Purple’ in the 1801 flat; it also complements rosy pink mums or kale and looks striking against white or chartreuse varieties.
