Snapshot Snapdragons
Large blooms of ‘Red Bicolor’
Our Snapshot Snapdragons are looking sharp and ready to go for sunny fall beds and planters. We started growing this series a few years ago because it promised bushier, more compact snapdragons and we’re happy to report it has delivered on that promise.
You’ll find that these are shorter and more spread out than the popular Montego snapdragons. One feature we particularly like is that the Snapshot flowers are almost too big for the plant, resulting in a very full, fluffy appearance. They bloom profusely all through the cooler days of autumn and fit in handily when you want the snapdragon look—just on a smaller scale. These plants reach about 6–10 inches high.
Attract all-important pollinators
Fragrant Snapshots attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, so we use them wherever we can. Lately we’ve been a bit more conscious of trying to work plants like these into our designs to encourage our all-important pollinators.
We have the following Snapshot colors available in the 4.5-inch pot: Orange, Purple, Red Bicolor (red flowers with white throats), Sunset (golden yellow flowers with hints of rose and orange), Yellow, and a Mix.
