Welcome the Newest Royals
Gebera ‘Royal Red Bicolor’
Blame it on the drama: we’ve become bona fide Royal watchers around here—always on the lookout for the hottest new Royal gerbera colors. This series has the most vivid flowers hands down, and we have to admit it’s exciting waiting for the newest member of the Royal family to be announced. Let’s get right to it—we’ve added two stunning selections to our Royal gerbera line this year.
‘Royal Prince Neon Violet’
Purple has long been associated with royalty and ‘Royal Prince Neon Violet’ is intense, with big, glowing purple flowers. Plants in this series have been bred for short stems, keeping the blooms just above the dark green foliage and maximizing the brilliant contrast. It results in a bold look that works especially well in window boxes and containers.
Bright red and a white ring
‘Royal Red Bicolor’ has an eye-catching bright red flower with a white ring around the center. Like all Royals, it’s an early bloomer with a tidy, compact habit and impeccable manners. Remember that Royals are short, at 12–14 inches, but they make up for it by blooming continuously all season.
‘Royal Premium Mix’
In addition to ‘Royal Prince Neon Violet’ and ‘Royal Red Bicolor’, we’ve also added ‘Royal Premium Mix’ to our lineup this spring. All are available in the 4.5-inch pot.
