Art Style Poinsettias

Poinsettias with variegation in the bracts are known as novelty varieties but we prefer to think of them as art-style selections. They’re popular with cutting edge designers and historically we’ve seen strong sales on these trendy varieties around Thanksgiving and right after. Each of these plants is unique and makes a strong statement on its own or when used in a combination display.

Our poinsettia planters offer a broad canopy of color to enhance holiday décor. We offer them in three sizes to cover a wide range of design situations: large, medium, and small.

 ‘Fireworks’ is our largest arrangement, named for the silver-painted cyperus grass in the design. The silver makes classic red poinsettias pop, although we can make this piece in another color if you prefer. ‘Fireworks’ generously fills a space at about 32–36 inches tall, or waist-high. It comes in a 14-inch pot and is suitable for floor displays.

For tabletops our medium-sized ‘Infinity Red’ planter in the 12-inch pot is designed lower so it can be used as a centerpiece. Each arrangement is unique, crafted with an assortment of festive accent plants chosen to add elegance and high-end polish. 

Our small poinsettias come in versatile 4.5 and 6.5-inch pots. These are great for any spot that needs a little dash of holiday color: a stark desktop, a neglected corner—or the empty space next to an elf on a shelf. We have a variety of shades to choose from including red, burgundy, pink, white, and our dashing assortment of novelty varieties.

Order begonias by the end of December.

December is fast approaching and with it our deadline for begonia orders. Since this crop takes so long to grow out we need to start planting in early January. Once we begin, our numbers are locked in for the year.

Dependable begonia sales are important, so avoid missing out on a popular variety simply because the demand outweighs our supply. At this stage of the game we can still order more material if you need a specific color or cultivar. Of course, we always have an abundance of begonias in the spring and summer but we never know for certain which type or size will sell out fast.

Placing an early order will ensure that you get what you need when you need it. Remember to get your selections in soon—our begonia order screen will close by the end of December.
